Christian Louboutin has disrupted the nail and lip packaging markets over the past couple of years, and continues the trend with Loubilaque, which the brand says, “not only beautifies the wearer but entices the observer.” In keeping with Louboutin’s vision of beauty as objet d’art, the bottle features thick clear walls carved with an intricate mermaid tail pattern. Mounted with a small ring threaded with a silk ribbon, the vial can be worn as a pendant, and is reminiscent of the ornate aesthetics of Middle Eastern antiquities and the Art Deco movement. Rouge Louboutin is distinctively topped in a silver-and-gold cap, while all other shades are enclosed with gold caps. The product is encased in a jewelry-like box with a silk carrying pouch and silk ribbon, and is available in 8 shades from nude to bright ($85 apiece).

In addition, the brand says the product’s “one-of-a-kind applicator” combines with its comfortable non-sticky texture for a seamless and sensual application.
